President of Herold Enterprises located in Scottsdale, AZ. Herold
Enterprises produces WOMEN OF SCOTTSDALE and WEST VALLEY WOMEN,
monthly meetings designed to connect local women, and includes
IDENTITY ARTS, a consulting practice. Linda also writes THE SOCIAL

Lisa E. Platt

Lisa E. Platt,
a Business Concierge and owner of Errands Galore, specializes in
working with busy professionals and small business owners helping
them complete projects such as data base management, mailings,
research information, and administrate reservations.
Lisa has served in many volunteer capacities including Friends of
CASS, the auxiliary group for Central Arizona Shelter Services and
Toastmasters International. Through coaching, mentoring and serving
in various leadership roles, Lisa recently earned her Distinguished
Toastmaster Award. Lisa believes in giving others the tools they
need so they can reach their individual goals. |

KELLY ZITLOW

Kelly Zitlow is an executive at Suburban Mortgage,
she currently holds the positions of Vice President, Sr. Mortgage Advisor, and
Branch Manager. Consistently a company and valley top producer, she has won the
company’s prestigious President’s Club Award six times.
Kelly has extensive knowledge of all types of loan
programs and can quickly navigate the nuances that each program and lender
maintains. Local builders and realtors respect her knowledge and level of
service by trusting their clients with her. Her ability to listen to her clients
and their needs allow her to fully determine the best loan program for their
individual needs. Kelly’s unprecedented level of understanding, care, and
communication with her clients during the loan process has earned her the
highest form of respect her borrower’s can give, their repeat and referral
business for over eleven years.
Kelly is active in the business community. She is a member of The Economic Club
of Phoenix, Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association (ALMA), Women of Scottsdale,
and Central Phoenix Women.
She supports numerous community and cultural endeavors. Kelly is a Circles
Member of Phoenix Art Museum, and member of Arizona Costume Institute and The
League at Phoenix Art Museum. She is a member of the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s
Circle of Hope, Arizona Women’s Partnership (AWP), and The WISH List.
Additionally she supports Sojourner Center and is currently a producing sponsor
for a new play by Childsplay & Audubon Society Arizona. Kelly supports the
American Cancer Society and Key to the Cure annually.
Kelly graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University. She is passionate about
her family and enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their two sons,
Jack and Nicholas.

Patty Barney

|
|
Patty Barney is the Public Relations Manager at Sleep America, where she
coordinates signature community events such as Debbie Gaby’s Catwalk for
Charity, the Sleep America Charities Golf tournament, the Randy Johnson Shoe
Drive and more. In addition, Ms. Barney handles media coverage and community
relations, actively participating in charitable events throughout the Valley. A
three time alumni from Arizona State University, Ms. Barney graduated with dual
undergraduate degrees in Broadcast Journalism from the renowned Walter Cronkite
School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Women Studies. Graduating with
her Masters in Communication by the time she was 22, she began volunteering her
time and writing for several Valley publications before she started raising
money for charitable organizations. For example, in 2005 she coordinated a steak
eating contest with local celebrities and West Valley restaurants that raised
$10,000 for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Ms. Barney sits on the board of the
Peoria Chamber of Commerce and the Peoria Diamond Club. In her spare time she
volunteers for various organizations throughout the Valley. |

Alison Bills left her home in the Lone Star State
to pursue an education among the Sun Devils at ASU where she earned a degree in
linguistics and mass communication. While in college she gained valuable writing
and leadership experience through her work as a graduate tutor at the ASU
Writing Center in addition to serving as an intern with Scottsdale Magazine. She
has been with the lifestyle publication ever since — now working as the
associate editor and feeding her passion for writing and travel by covering
topics that range from health and beauty to real estate opportunities and luxury
escapes across the Southwest and beyond.
She looks forward to serving as a 2008 Advisor with the Women of Scottsdale and
being a part of this inspirational group of Valley women.

Jennifer Hazard is the Assistant General Manager
for Donovan’s Steak & Chop House located on 31st & Camelback. Donovan’s is a
world-class steak house that offers a fabulous dining experience. Growing up in
the hospitality industry, Jennifer has a passion for customer service and enjoys
the opportunities that come with managing.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from
Northern Arizona University.
Having moved to the valley 2 ½ years ago from Seattle, WA, Jennifer is learning
the market and strives to promote Donovan’s. She began as the Front Desk Manager
, then Sales & Catering where she was able to work closely with guests and
meeting planners to execute parties. She is now the Assistant General Manager.
Jennifer was taught to always strive to be better. She looks forward to the
relationships that this year will bring.

Chas Sinquefield is the
Director of Marketing for Rowland Luxury Homes located in Scottsdale, AZ. Chas’
responsibilities as Director of Marketing include; sales, advertising,
marketing, public relations/events and corporate giving.
Beginning marketing/public relations career in 2001, Chas attributes her
communicative and strategic planning skills to versatile efforts in both the non
profit and corporate fields.
Chas has always maintained the priority of altruism in her career and personal
life. Chas believes that success and good fortune is cyclical, we all learn and
grow through shared experiences we should share something with someone everyday.
Chas currently serves on various local charitable committees.
Chas has received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a Master’s
Degree in Education both from Northern Arizona University.

Roxanne Weaver is the Director of Arizona 5
Arts Circle, a non-profit membership organization founded in 1999 to support
5 of our metro area's major arts organizations: Arizona Opera, Ballet
Arizona, Phoenix Art Museum, The Phoenix Symphony and the Scottsdale
Cultural Council, the umbrella organization for the Scottsdale Center for
the Performing Arts and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
Since 1999, Arizona 5 Arts Circle members have donated more than $2 million
to these 5 groups. Many of its 150 members are part-time residents, and
through 5 Arts Circle have become "connected" to our community through
special, member-only events, rehearsals and exhibit tours at these arts
institutions. These events offer an opportunity for members to meet artistic
directors, artists, arts leaders and other art enthusiasts throughout our
large metro area.
Roxanne's background is in event planning and fundraising. She grew up in
the Midwest, primarily in Nebraska, and moved here 6 years ago from Jackson
Hole, WY with her husband Jim. Roxanne was thrilled to leave snow boots,
snow shovels, mittens and caps in WY and enjoys the warm Scottsdale weather. |

DEBBIE GABY
President, Sleep America |
Debbie Gaby is President and co-founder of
Sleep America, the largest mattress retailer in Arizona, with over
40 locations throughout Arizona. In addition to overseeing a
successful business, Debbie coordinates Sleep America’s efforts to
positively impact the community and serves on many committees for
community agencies and activities, including hosting fundraising
events. In 2004, Debbie co-founded Sleep America Charities, which
provides assistance, support, and other resources to deserving
Valley charities and organizations in need. Prior to co-founding
Sleep America, Debbie was
one of the top realtors
in the state of Texas for over fifteen years.
Whether her efforts assist people
getting a good night’s sleep, protecting the environment, or
inspiring others to give back to the community, she has been guided
by her passion to help others improve their quality of life! She
currently serves on the board of directors of four non profit
agencies: Florence Crittenton, Phoenix Suns Charities, Arizona Youth
Development, and the Salvation Army along with serving on several
advisory boards including Arizona Woman’s Magazine. In 2006,
Debbie
co-chaired Sojourner Center’s 11 million dollar Capital Campaign. In
January 2007, Debbie was honored to co-chair Arizona Governor Janet
Napolitano’s second Inaugural committee, co-emceeing the Inaugural
reception with broadcaster Hugh Downs. Recently, Debbie and her
family received the “Philanthropist of the Year” Award from the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. In 2006, Debbie received
the World of Community Service Award from the Girl Scouts of
Arizona, the Florence Crittenton Center named a garden after her,
Banner of Hope honored her with the “Hope” Award, the YWCA named
Debbie as “The Business Leader of the Year” and Working Women
Magazine honored her for Entrepreneurial Excellence. She has
also received the 2000 Golden Heart of Business Award, 2000
Arthritis Awareness Award, 2000 Vera Beaton Volunteer Award, the
1999 Spirit of Philanthropy Award and the 1999 Crohn’s & Colitis
Women of Distinction Award. |
